EmpowerMT is seeking a passionate, relationship-centered leader to join our team as Director of Youth Leadership & Engagement. This full-time senior leadership role is an exciting opportunity to help shape and advance youth leadership across Montana through healing-centered, youth-led, and equity-rooted programming.

The Director will provide strategic leadership for EmpowerMT’s statewide Youth Leadership Pathways, school partnerships, youth-led organizing efforts, and community engagement initiatives. This role oversees programs that foster belonging, leadership, wellbeing, civic engagement, and systems change for young people across Montana.

We are looking for someone who deeply believes in the power and leadership of young people and brings experience in youth development, community engagement, education, social justice, or related fields. The ideal candidate is a strong facilitator, relationship-builder, and team leader with experience managing programs, partnerships, and staff.

Successful candidates will bring a commitment to equity, belonging, anti-oppression, and healing-centered practices, along with the ability to lead collaboratively in dynamic and evolving environments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $64,480 annually

• Full-time exempt with a 32-hour, 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday)
