INCLUSIVE WORK TRAININGS

BUILDING AN INCLUSIVE WORK AND SERVICE ENVIRONMENT
This entry-level training objective is to aid in empowering leadership at all levels to build a positive workplace where colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds, life experiences and cultures feel valued and respected. Participants will deepen skills with new approaches for meeting consumer needs and building an inclusive work and service environment for all.

STRENGTHENING CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION
This bias prevention training objectives are to aid staff in learning skills for identifying our own cultural lenses and in understanding the lenses of others. The goal of this training is to increase mutual respect and understanding, build a foundation of awareness and language around oppression and its impact, and develop skills and strategies in building successful, collaborative partnerships.

 

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAININGS

STRENGTHENING EFFECTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Do you wonder if there are ways to better serve Montana’s increasingly diverse communities? This introductory training’s objective is to help staff examine the challenges and barriers to providing quality customer service, establish workplace expectations for treating customers with courtesy and understanding, and acquire new approaches and strategies for meeting the needs of diverse populations.

EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP
Leadership doesn’t have to be top down – it can be shoulder-to-shoulder. The objectives of this leadership training are to empower all employee’s leadership. We provide staff strength assessments, skill development for effective teamwork and handling one-on-one conflict, and exploring solutions to a range of leadership challenges, including effectively giving and receiving criticism.

 

TRANSFORMING CONFLICT TRAININGS

WORKING THROUGH CONFLICT
Conflict is a natural part of business and life. The targets of this experiential training are to identify interpersonal and intergroup challenges experienced by staff, expand strategies to increase effective communication and rapport with clients and/or colleagues, and empower staff by equipping them with skills to navigate conflict in a way that maintains positive working relationships.

FINDING COMMON GROUND THROUGH CONTROVERSY
Do you find it difficult to move from polarization to collaboration? This interactive training teaches tangible facilitation skills for re-uniting divided groups, creating space for each side to learn each other’s positions, identify common ground, and establish next steps toward developing common solutions.
